Terms of Service

The service

BusinessOS, operated by Genus Studios LLC ("Genus Studios", "we", "us"), provides AI voice outreach, messaging, workflow automation, and related tooling. BusinessOS Desktop is free software that processes your lead files locally on your own machine. The web dashboard and AI voice features are usage-based and billed in credits. By using the service you agree to these terms.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the lawfulness of your outreach, including obtaining and documenting consent before contacting anyone.
• You must provide accurate campaign descriptions and attach genuine consent evidence. The platform enforces consent requirements, but enforcement is a safeguard, not a substitute for your legal obligations.
• You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications, or to contact numbers on applicable do-not-contact registries without a valid exemption.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.

Credits & billing

AI voice and related metered features consume credits purchased through Stripe checkout in the dashboard. Credits are consumed only when an action actually executes (e.g. a dial that goes out). Text messages are billed by your own telephony provider on your own account — never by us. Purchases are final except where required by law; see our support channels for refund questions.

Messaging program terms (for message recipients)

If you received a text or call sent through BusinessOS by one of our customers:

• Who's messaging you — messages are sent by the business identified in the message, using BusinessOS as their outreach platform.
• Frequency — message frequency varies by the sender's program and your relationship with them.
• Rates — message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out — reply STOP at any time to end text messages. Opt-outs are honored immediately and permanently for that sender's account.
• Help — reply HELP for assistance, or contact us via our Discord community.
• Consent is never a condition of purchase — you are never required to agree to receive messages in order to buy anything.
• Carriers — wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use & enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to bypass consent gates, or create legal or deliverability risk for the platform. Campaign approval does not certify that your outreach is lawful — that determination remains yours and your counsel's.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not your legal, compliance, or insurance counsel, and nothing in the platform constitutes legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
